ABOUT
Lisa is a maker at the intersection of art and design. As an experienced ceramic artist and commercial interior designer, Lisa has a unique understanding of materials and how they can be manipulated and transformed. From tableware and furniture to architectural installations, her work ranges in scale and showcases her exceptional attention to detail. Lisa's practice is grounded in authenticity and the belief that the materials and objects we surround ourselves with greatly impact our everyday experiences.
Lisa has a M.S. in Interior Architecture from Drexel University and a B.A in Art from Swarthmore College. She has also studied at the Cleveland Institute of Art, Tyler School of Art, and Haystack Mountain School of Crafts.
Her work has been exhibited in Philadelphia at the Crane Arts Center, The Clay Studio, East End Salon, and Design Philadelphia as well as the List Gallery in Swarthmore, PA.
Lisa grew up in rural Ohio, where she first found her inspiration in the patterns and forms found in nature.
